Garden Quartz Underwater Koi Carp Fish Hand-Carved Intaglio Reverse Lens Carving (Video) fluorescent Photographed with our gem torchThis is an exquisite lens of Quartz with excellent clarity and red inclusions of 'Garden', that has been reverse 'Intaglio' carved with a pair of koi carp fish swimming underwater feeding on kelp. Intaglio carving is the process of etching out a design from the rear, so it can be viewed as a 3D picture from the front. This process is done by hand by master carvers and is a painstakingly long process to complete each individual masterpiece. Approx. 4cm
